The Guardian 6200 is designed to provide a wide range of location based services such as zone and speed monitoring, accumulated usage (engine) hours, real time tracking, stop/start and time management reports. On-board memory permits the continuous monitoring of up to 5 geofence zones as well as speed limit violations. An optional weatherproof case permits use in the harshest of environments. The system uses the all-digital GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) network specifically designed to transmit a high volume of reports. The unit comes with a combined GSM/GPS surface-mount antenna and a multi purpose wiring harness (installation is required).
